We used an A2 sized sheet of paper. Having a go at an A0 size for an end-of-year biggie. Thanks!

Since I should be banned from guessing there, I'll just stick to the major points:

-Wow, I love the colors and textures used in this one! :) The houses are suitably wacky in their retro looks. I've always wanted one of those one-story retro-modern houses with glass fronts after all!
-The spectrum of characters, from your house blend of loonies to the fun cameos, is always impressive! :D Simply looking to see what everyone's doing is such a fun activity (which you should get a lot of credit for, as a lot of the ones I've done before just have them standing or walking)!
-Poor Floog never could catch a break, could he?"SHE'S FLINGIN' HER POO! DUCK!!!" :dummy:
-Thanks of course for the cameos (as well as the hidden shoutouts as well, pretty clever!) They definitely look like you did them this time around! I'm sure Stan would be able to con naive Rosey out of her cash if beanie-wearing Floyd wasn't there looking like he detects the suspicious activity!
-I'm impressed to see a few nod to my old 50s pic as well, that really means a lot!

All in all, a fun pic that I'm sure you know I love! Well done, the both of you! :thanks:

Cheesy retro 1950's suburb in all its glory! Love all the different house designs and the mash-up of madcap madness mangling the street, I got a good laugh at the botched paint job especially. :XD:
Goes without saying that you got each and every toon spot on, and of course, cheers for the shoutout too. :)

Haha great! It really look like you like that in most of your draws =)! I also watched your video of making backgrounds. Sometimes it looks difficult to develop a background, but it's not at all... or at least, I think it's easier for you :D

I know how to draw characters, but sometimes the background is not my best when drawing xD.

Sometimes having the characters there makes it easier, sometimes having them not there makes it easier - all depends.

WHOA! This is a pleasant surprise. Of course to see Pierre and Andre in there. They look so good and goofy. And without knowing it, you have Pierre's outfit accurate as he does in fact wear black suspenders (braces as you call them) under his sweater. So when he's not wearing his sweater, that is what you see. :D

I love all the subtleties you slipped in this picture. The lead paint is funny. The lemonaid laced with gin is hilarious. That would actually be wonderful and refreshing on a hot day. A bit tastier than Gin and Tonic I guess. Haha... Baster having coffee by I.V.? Ewwwww.... How painful that must be. He must really be a caffeine addict. :XD: April as Avon, I mean Ovan, sales lady. hehe... Is OMO on those books that Nigel's mother is holding supposed to be parodying HMO health insurance? Is Murphy supposed to be a health insurance salesman? And why does June have a volcano on her head? LOL... Leroy security is funny. And oh my goodness, there is so much more you have slipped in there. So much to look at. So much fun these pictures are.

Thank you very much for including Pierre and Andre. They really fit the mold of craziness for this wacky group collage. :D

The OMO is a reference to a washing up powder of that name. Apprently if bored housewives were left to their own devices, they'd put two packets of this in the window to signify 'Old Man Out - On My Own' as a hint to passers-by. Of course, what with Mater being a randy old mare who'd have an affair with an old tramp if he said hello to her, it's pretty appropriate. June's outfit is based on the 'Handmaidens' in THIS advert - [link]

Interesting stuff. Never heard of that OMO thing. Must be a British thing or something.

I love how Snout's face was painted over. So funny. Is that an egg in the grass below Nelson?
