A fiendish art challenge for the spookiest of months! I enjoyed last year's one, so I decided to come up with my own list this year. Feel free to join in, or even come up with your own list.
As much as I love vampires, zombies and werewolves, I thought I’d plump for some less popular creatures this time around – they need love too! If you're jumping on the creepy bandwagon, you can draw these characters in any style or tone or even have your cast fancy-dressing as them. Use traditional or digital, full colour, black & white or anything in-between, as long as you have maahhnnsterously good fun with it!
3. Gargoyle

Today sees us at the end of the end of the Monster A Day Art Challenge and I have to say – I’ve been impressed, to put it mildly.
First of all, I would like to wish you all a Happy Hallowe’en so get out there and have some spooky and/or dressing up related fun and shenanigans after having a browse through all these wonderful art pieces.
Secondly, and just as importantly, I would like to commend all you artists for taking part in this month-long art challenge. I’ve been absolutely blown away by the response given to this idea and have had a great time just looking at all the entries. An additional pat on the back to those who managed to stick to every day of this event and also to those who went the extra mile by making either colour entries, comics, or ‘thinking outside the box’ style submissions. If there remain any other entries I have omitted, please forgive and alert me – there were just that many pieces of art, that overlooking some became all too easy and actually overloaded my journal on several occasions!
Once again, well done all and have a simply MONSTEROUS(ly fun) Hallowe’en!
